Simple Tricks for Organizing a Small Caravan Using an Ordinary Oven Rack!

If you're shopping for a new caravan, you might hesitate to get one that's small enough for your vehicle to manage, simply because organization and storage is a challenge in smaller caravans. However, you can usually find simple ways to organize and store all your items in even the smallest of trailers, if you consider a few simple tips and tricks. Consider a few easy way to organize your items in a small caravan, using an everyday wire oven rack!

Sunglasses

Holidays usually mean lots of sunglasses for you and the kids, and these easily get lost in your caravan or in a beach bag. To fix this, screw an oven rack to the back of the caravan entryway door or inside a closet door. You can use the rack to then store everyone's sunglasses so they're easy to find and so they won't get broken or crushed in a handbag or pocket.

Handwritten directions

Going on holiday may mean taking along handwritten directions to a favourite destination, along with brochures, tickets for admission, and the like; if you need to print these out and can't store the information on your smart phone, use an oven rack to keep the papers organized. Attach the rack to the inside of the entryway door and then use clothespins to hold your papers. You can also use this for postcards, photos, ticket stubs, grocery lists, and any other paper items that you don't want to get lost or damaged.

Kitchen utensils

Caravan kitchens are famous for being very small and very short on drawer space, so use an oven rack to hang things up on a kitchen wall or on the side of a cabinet. Screw the rack into the wall and then use small hooks for hanging utensils, measuring cups, measuring spoons, or even small pans.

Jewellery

Going on holiday doesn't mean you'll want to leave all your jewellery behind, but storing it in a small caravan bedroom can be a challenge, and it's easy for pieces to get lost in your luggage. To organize these pieces, attach an oven rack to the back of a bedroom door or on a bedroom wall. You can hang earrings from the rack, or use clothespins to hold necklaces and bracelets in place. You can also use clothespins to hold boxes for smaller pieces. This will keep everything organized and easy to find in even the smallest of caravans.

About Me

Auto Electrical Faults

Yo! Welcome to my new blog. My name is Tim and I live in downtown Brisbane with my friends. I recently left school and got a job which allowed me to save up for my very first car. Man, I love it. I have always dreamt of owning a car. I didn't have lots of cash so I had to buy a pretty cheap car. Because my car is so old, it has had one or two problems. The biggest issue was with the electrical system. The windows wouldn't open, the headlights were dim and sometimes the car wouldn't start. Thankfully, I found a great auto service company who fixed all the problems for me. I learnt a lot from the mechanics there so I decided to start this blog.
